A IS FOR APPLESAUCE (SERVES 2)
If you are just starting out on your culinary journey perhaps homeade applesauce would be the perfect, easy, delicious place to start. It doesn't get any less complicated than this! Lifes greatest pleasures are often the simplest ones.
- ½ C Apple cider
- 2 Granny smith apples - cubed into ½" chunks, peeled, and remove core
- ½ Tsp. Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar- use more if it is too tart for you
Heat cider, and apple over medium heat for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. When the apples are broken down where you like it, add cinnamon and brown sugar. That is it!
Add dried cherries, cranberries, raisins etc.
