SIMPLE CRANBERRY SAUCE (YIELDS ABOUT 1 C)
This was incredibly easy to make, and had far less sugar than the canned stuff. Plus I know exactly what is in it and where it came from.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 C Fresh cranberries
- ½ C Orange juice
- ¼ Tsp. Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
Cook cranberries and OJ in small saucepan on medium low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 30 minutes add cinnamon and brown sugar. We prefer this a little tart so add sugar to taste.
